Song Choice

We have chosen to use Jasmine Lauren's 'So Invisible' because we felt the song is more emotional, and we thought we'd take advantage of that seeing as our main artist is a drama student, so she will not have a problem acting in front of the camera. When we got feedback from the rest of the class, they all seemed to prefer this song as there was a lot we could do with it.

Our original chosen song was Thicke's 'Let U Go', on Jamendo, tracks are not downloadable, we tried contacting the artists, however, they didn't get back to us. So we changed our song and go it from unsigned-mp3 where we could download the song onto our phones and send it to our artist.


We presented all our four song choice to our class and this were the ideas that were given;


First choice:
Jasmine Lauren- So Invisible

• A girl not being appreciated in a relationship

• Should be set in a bedroom
• Maybe the guy has been unfaithful

Second choice:

Thicke- Let U Go

• Three confident, independent women
• A black girl
• Reminds them of Destiny Child's, Keyshia Cole
• Could intertexualise with Destiny Child's song 'Girl'
• A women who is moving on from a relationship and doesn't need to be where she's not appreciated

Third choice:

Mr Chocolate- In Love

• A school crush
